Hi, Christie! After reading your internship plan, I am so excited for you! Getting to help in the planning of a new elementary school sounds like you will have plenty of opportunity for practicing collaboration and planning skills. Good luck! I find it interesting that many of us have interviewing nutritional services and custodial staff on our to do list. They are such an important part of our system, but I think we often take their tasks for granted. I also am impressed that you are going to spend some time talking with a grant writer. That is an area that I feel I could learn more about, so I might do the same. Since it seems much of your experience is in the elementary area, have you considered targeting some secondary learning opportunities? They are different animals, for certain! Nice job!--- Becky Prentice

Christie, You have done a good job of developing your plan. It is very easy to see the anticipated outcomes from each activity. You have developed most of your activities to help you view things from the district perspective. I especially liked number 16. It would be interesting to compare the outcome of the level 3 hearing to the consequence listed in the Code of Conduct. In reading number 4, I assume that the purpose is to make a recommendation on how to improve the implementation process. I would be interested in hearing your recommendations. Nice Job! -Lee Holman
